Biblical Studies Majors and Minors

  • Biblical Languages
  • Old and New Testaments
  • Pre-Seminary Studies

Minors

Biblical Studies

The minor in Biblical Studies consists of the standard CRUX requirements or equivalent “Ramp Up” courses. See the course catalog for details.

Biblical Languages

The minor in Biblical Languages consists of two years of Classical Greek and one year of biblical Hebrew. Students considering seminary, graduate study, or a vocation of Bible translation are encouraged to complete this minor.

Classical Languages

The minor in Classical Languages consists of two years of Classical Greek and one year of Latin. Students considering graduate study in the Classics are encouraged to complete this minor.
