Welcome Weekend Schedule

Welcome Weekend, held August 23-24, helps you become part of the Trinity Community. You will be introduced to the details that will help you succeed as a Trinity student. You are required to attend Welcome Weekend. If you are living on campus, you will move into the Trinity Apartments during this time.

Saturday, August 23

9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Move in
Trinity Apartment residents move into the apartments.

11:00 - 3:00 Corner Store Open
Get your Trinity gear or pick up a snack in the Trinity Corner Store.

12:00 - 1:00 Lunch - Commons
Lunch is provided for new students and their families.

1:00 - 1:30 Meet your Welcome Weekend leader - Commons
All new students are assigned to a Welcome Weekend group. Be sure to attend this session to meet your Welcome Weekend leader and your group.

1:30 - 2:00 Opening Session - Brammer
All new students and their families are invited to kick off Welcome Weekend together as we introduce Trinity faculty, staff and students you will want to know.

2:00 - 2:45 Spiritual life at Trinity - Brammer
All new students should attend this session to learn more about what’s happening at Trinity and how you can be involved.

2:00 - 2:45 Being a parent of a Trinity student - Commons
Parents and families of all students are invited to meet with the President and Deans to learn how you can support your student and be a part of the Trinity Community.

3:00 - 5:00 Men's soccer game - Lincoln Field
Wear your Trinity gear and cheer on your Eagles!

5:00 - 7:00 President's BBQ - Wetmore Plaza The entire Trinity Community is invited to this free dinner. Meet and mingle with faculty, staff and returning students.

9:00 p.m. Residence Hall meetings - Trinity Apartments
This is a mandatory meeting for new students in the Trinity Apartments. Don’t worry, it will be fun!

Sunday, August 24

Rides will be provided in the morning to various local churches.

2:00 - 5:00 Card Pickup - Commons
Students can pick up T1 Cards (the new ID cards), purchase meal plans and parking passes

3:00 - 3:30 Safety in the City - Brammer
Living and attending classes in the city, even a smaller city like Everett, requires attention to safety. All students should plan to attend this session.

3:30 - 4:00 T1 Cards and the new Meal Plans - Commons
What is a “T1 Card?” Gold plan? Platinum? Block plan? There is a whole new system at Trinity for meal plans and access. All students should plan to attend this session to learn about the new plans and the new cards.

5:00 - 8:00 Dinner at professor's houses - Meet your group in the Commons
All new students will go with their Welcome Weekend group to a professor’s house for dinner. You don’t want to miss this!

9:00p.m. Residence Hall meetings - Trinity Apartments
This is mandatory meeting for all Trinity Apartment residents.
