Overview
Combining theory and research, an understanding of faith development, and extensive practical experience, students are prepared to teach or administer a public or church-based preschool or childcare center.
Graduates with a B.A. degree in Early Childhood Education will:
• Demonstrate proficiency in developmentally appropriate teaching practices
• Design, implement, and administer an Early Childhood Education program
in a congregational setting, a home care setting, or a public program
• Find employment as a staff member in early childhood facilities
or be prepared for continuing education in a graduate program
• Model a Christian lifestyle through servant leadership and relational skills
