Work Study and Student Employment

Trinity offers two employment programs to students - the Federal Work Study Program and the student employment program.

Federal Work Study Program

  • provides part-time jobs to students who have financial need as determined by the FAFSA
  • is federally funded
  • a form of financial aid which provide jobs for students who need help to pay their educational expenses

How to apply

Students must complete a FAFSA to be considered for a work-study award.

You should know

A work-study award does not guarantee employment, but has several benefits not available in regular employment. Some employers will only accept qualified work-study applicants, so you will find a greater number of job openings available if you have an award. Your work-study income is not included when your financial aid need is determined each year, which may increase your eligibility for other types of financial aid, such as scholarships, grants, or subsidized loans.

Trinity Student Employment

  • Funded by Trinity
  • Provides employment to students who want to work on campus
  • For students who do not qualify for the federal work study program

How to apply

To apply for work on campus, download a campus job application. Return this application to the Financial Aid Office.
