Trinity signs five-player men’s soccer class

June 24, 2014

Trinity Lutheran College head coach Harlan Slind announced five signings for the 2014 men’s soccer season. Four of the handful are community college transfers who will add further depth to an already experienced roster.

The Eagles are coming off an 8-7-1 season in 2013, which included victories over NCAA Division III programs Whitman College, Linfield College and George Fox University. Trinity graduated four seniors from the 2013 team, ensuring the Eagles shouldn’t miss a beat when they resume play in August.

Trinity will join the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics beginning in the fall, as an independent school without a conference at first. During the season, Trinity will play NAIA schools, as well as community college programs throughout the Pacific Northwest.
