Trinity Lutheran College is pleased to announce that Andrea Wilson has been hired as the college’s Director of Financial Aid and Student Records. Wilson begins at Trinity on November 8.

Since 2010, Wilson has served as the Director of Financial Aid and Scholarships at Everett Community College, managing $25 million in federal, state and institutional aid allocations and supervising a staff of 11. She holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington.

Wilson brings significant experience in financial aid and is also excited about the work she will do with the college.

“I am particularly passionate about joining Trinity because the college’s mission of developing leaders with a global perspective mirrors my personal commitment to improving access to higher education and delivering high quality customer service to all constituents,” Wilson said.

One of the ways the college embraces its commitment to innovation is in staffing. Wilson’s position, which encompasses financial aid and student records (registrar) combines the leadership of two crucial college departments into a single position, streamlining core functions and increasing the effectiveness of student support and advising.

“I am delighted to welcome Andrea Wilson as the Director of Financial Aid and Student Records,” said Michael DeLashmutt, Academic Dean and VP for Academic Affairs.

“She brings to the college a wealth of experience in financial aid, a commitment to improving access to higher education and a passion for the mission of this school to develop leaders who serve Christ and society,” DeLashmutt said.
